Who am I?
Welcome everyone! I am Catherine, a yoga teacher who believes practicing yoga helps you to feel happier, grounded and generally more fulfilled. I hope to share my passion of teaching yoga with you.
What does a yoga at work class look like?
- We start the class with a gentle breathing exercise to help connect with our bodies.
- Moving into a gentle warm up whilst engaging the muscles to heat up the body.
- Transitioning into a variety of standing yoga poses dynamically moving in a vinyasa flow.
- As we move into seated yoga poses it is an opportunity to stretch out the muscles.
- The penultimate part is our inversion: a pose where the heart is above the head.
- Ending the practice with relaxation which is accompanied by a head massage.
Classes can be adapted to 45, 60 or 75 minutes and have a holistic approach.

I’ve practiced yoga sporadically for years. Only after practicing regularly with Catherine did I find a deep love for the practice. She’s a great guide and no matter at what level you are she makes sure you feel comfortable and pushes you just enough for you to advance. Also, her playlists are awesome!

Having Catherine come to our offices once a week gives my Monday just the right mix of calm and challenge that I need for a productive week. I feel energized, focused and more mindful the day after the class. The mix of slow and fast vinayasas pushes but not so much you feel you can’t adapt when you need to.

In the way Catherine teaches is the perfect balance between great physical conditioning, stretching and relaxation. After class I feel so much calmer, at ease and also so much stronger. I’ve found yoga to be the best cross-training I can do to add to my circus/aerial practice too. I basically now spend the whole week waiting eagerly for your next class. I love it and I’m so grateful!! 🙂

I started doing yoga with hesitation, since I had no experience at all and I was unsure if I would like it. Fortunately the teacher was Catherine, and after the first class I have became a huge fan of yoga and of her teaching techniques. She adapts the rhythm of the class to the different levels of the students, and she patiently explains the exercises and correct your poses. Without no doubts, do a yoga class with Catherine is the best way to end the day!

As a complete beginner, the classes can be intense and demanding. I can feel my legs and arms at the end of each class, but this is exactly what I’m looking for in order to release all the accumulated stress after the hard working day: muscles stretched, tension released, mind refreshed. Catherine is mindful of the newbies giving variations to poses.
The calm music and burning scents are the perfect tools to engage your body and mind during the class.

Catherine is one of the best yoga instructors I’ve had the pleasure of learning from. She is an excellent teacher from her expertise of yoga and her respectful approach to each class participant and their individual needs and abilities. I always leave the class refreshed, calm and feeling great!
